My First Blog Post

Hello World! (of IT)!

Welcome to the first-ever post on the brand new blog for my work website! I'm thrilled to be kicking things off and opening the door to a space dedicated to sharing learnings, experiences, and insights from the wonderful world of Information Technology and AV Technology. I do not wanna ignore that this is a subdomain. I might make it a full domain later, however the main site is my comedy site. If you like standup comedy you might like that website. It details my comedy career. But its not my only sub domain as well, I have Gaming.ChandlerValencia.com coming out soon with update and blog posts on my quest to reach the top rank of every competitive game. ( I used to be a professional H1Z1 player, so its pretty easy for me to get good at games however still a journey. )

As some of you might know, I'm Chandler Valencia and I am a well-rounded IT Guy. I'm passionate about IT and constantly on the lookout for ways to improve, grow, and share that knowledge with others. Everyone I have ever worked with has said the same thing about working with me, which is I have a gift for Technology on every scope. As an IT guy, you learn there are a lot of sub categories within the field, does not matter the category or specialization. I can learn it in an extremely fast time. To the point, when my company is presented with new technology or services, they give it to me a day early to figure out and teach everyone else.

This blog is going to be my personal updates to share what I figure out with these various systems, a space where I can delve into the nitty-gritty of what I'm working on, the challenges I encounter, and – most importantly – the solutions I discover along the way.

Learning is a Journey, Not a Destination

Here's the thing: nobody knows everything. One of my favorite philosophy quotes is by the great Socrates, "I know that I know nothing." The beauty of working in a dynamic field like IT, is that there's always something new to learn, a novel approach to explore, or a hidden best practice waiting to be unearthed.

This blog will be a chronicle of that journey. I'll be sharing what I'm picking up, both the big-picture ideas and the day-to-day hacks that make a real difference.

Frequency Flyers Welcome!

Now, the question on everyone's mind: how often will you see new content on this spankin' new blog?

Great question! I plan on posting regularly, not on any sort of schedule but whenever I learn something new or am doing something that the regular Joe Shmo would not know how to do, I would write about it. But the real driver will be the learning itself. If I stumble upon something truly insightful or discover a workaround that deserves wider recognition, you can bet I'll be here, keyboard at the ready, to share it with you.
